Found Support
Found is an iOS app by Attention Labs. It searches the unclaimed-property files that US states publish for records in your name, tells you when a new file lists you, and sends you to the state's own site to claim. Claiming is always free and you always do it yourself.
Get in touch
Email support@attentionlabs.dev. We reply within two business days. Tell us roughly when you ran the search you are asking about; we do not go looking through your account otherwise.
Manage or cancel your subscription
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled through Apple, not inside Found:
- On your iPhone open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Found → Cancel Subscription.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access to the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Found and Settle are sold separately. One account covers both, so signing in with the same Apple ID carries your claims across, but each app has its own subscription.
Restore a purchase on a new device
Sign in with the same Apple ID, then open Profile → Account → Restore purchases.
Change what we search, or delete everything
- Names and places — Profile → Names and places. Add a former or maiden name, add a state you used to live in, remove anything you no longer want searched.
- Everything — Profile → Your data → Delete my account and data, then type DELETE. This removes your names, states, saved claims, notes and notification settings. It is hidden immediately and permanently erased after seven days. It does not cancel an active subscription: do that with Apple first.
Common questions
You found a record with my name. Is the money mine?
Not necessarily. A name match is a probability, not proof. The state decides, and it will ask you to prove you are the person on the record, usually with a photo ID and something linking you to the address on file.
Why does the app not file the claim for me?
Because the state's form is free and it asks for identity documents we deliberately never hold. We never file on your behalf and we never take a percentage of what you recover.
You searched one state. What about the others?
The search screen names the states it actually covered. Anything else has not been ruled out, it simply has not been searched yet; we add states as their files become available.
Do I need to give a Social Security number?
Never to us. There is nowhere in the app to enter one. A state may ask for one on its own claim form, which is their form, on their site.
Why is my amount hidden?
Amounts, the official claim links and the re-checking are what the subscription unlocks. Record counts, states, holders and property types stay visible without paying.
